Copper gents of Leicester clock

Beautiful example of the iconic wall clock made in england by renowned electrical manufactures gents of leicester. C.1930. The metal casing has been stripped of paint to show the elegant copper beneath. The 18" dial is bright and clean with arabic numerals and the gents of leicester manufacturing logo. The arrowed hands run on the original slave movement which now has benefit of a modern battery operated impulse driver giving that synonomous mechanical 'clunk' every 30 seconds. Nice detail to reverse showing the asset number of the clock from it's original setting.
