Oil painting on wood panel of very beautiful craftsmanship signed by maurice (vagh) weinmann (1899-1986), landscape painter of hungarian origin (born in budapest) who worked with nandor and elemeret whose free and spontaneous invoice is recognized, using a thick paste oil paint. His studio was dispersed by masters ribeyre and baron in 1992 in paris. There is a second known work by this artist representing a flock of geese and located on the basque coast, presumed location of the landscape here for sale. Very nice state of conservation, healthy and clean pictorial layer. A wax-monogrammed stamp on the back of the panel, presumably from an expertise or collection. Panel dimension: 50 / 61 cm.
