Basket with wicker basket handle

This adorable wicker basket in two colors (straw color and a slightly golden green color) will be perfect for going to your little daily market or going on a picnic but will also find many uses in the house: knitting basket, storage for cosmetics in the bathroom...it will also be perfect in a child's room as small storage or for playing shopkeeper! It is recently made (2 or 3 years old) but was made by a very talented traveling basket maker who comes to my house twice a year. Its baskets are very solid, with a handle (sometimes a weak point in certain baskets) very well “secured” and very solid and a bottom reinforced by thicker (and darker) strands. This basket will still be there in fifty years, that's for sure! It is very clean, it has been used very little (because I have so many that I can't use them all!). Some original “frayed” strands (it is apparently more complicated to make small baskets because you have to “twist” the strands more. It measures 37 cm in length by 22 cm in width. At the edge, its height varies from 15 to 20 cm, and approximately 33 cm at the level of the handle.
