Sputnik ceiling light chandelier 3 fires Emil Stejnar - 1960

This half-ball-shaped faceted suspension has 3 lights (e14 screwed bulbs), the design is by emil stejnar, manufactured by rupert nikoll. This lamp called sputnik dates from 1960, with 12 diamond-cut crystal discs from the val st lambert crystal factory, fixed on 12 silver metal rods. The half-sphere structure is also made of silver metal, and can be installed on the ceiling as a suspension or against a wall to make a wall applique. Note that a decorative one-eyed nut is less shiny (difference very little visible, see photo); the crystal discs allow a very beautiful diffusion of light. Weight 1.9 kg. 34 cm diameter / 13.38" 23 cm / 9" height. Metal base diameter 11.5 cm / 4.5" Diameter of a crystal disc 8 cm / 3.15".
