Old country writing table

Magnificent side table from the first of the 20th century. Very simple, in pure country and farm style, it is entirely made of solid fir. Its pretty top is set on 4 straight square legs, under which we find a small opening drawer with a pretty round wooden handle. It is in very good condition, with traces of life, but it is still stable and solid. A treatment was applied to prevent the proliferation of xylophages. It was dyed quite dark, and the color has patina over time. No restoration has been carried out, in order to preserve its beauty and authenticity, it has just been treated and protected with wax. After spending decades in a beautiful house in gironde, it can serve as an entrance console, a desk, or, under a beautiful mirror, create a quiet little corner where you can take care of yourself.
