One of the diamonds in the victoria and albert museum collection is an ardabil carpet. It is the only carpet among the few old well-preserved carpets where we can see on their weaving the date (946 persian date) 1539 according to our calendar. The first ardabil carpets with different flower designs and medallions are simple without symbolism and we remember very much the ancient carpets of the tabriz city. Dimensions: 294x210 cm without fringes (5cm of fringes on each side) Condition: many wear on the entire carpet including two coarsier. The carpet has been professionally cleaned, it curls slightly on one side following cleaning, let's give it time to find its place to get back flat; ).
