Moud carpet, native to the area of the city bearing the same name, located about 300 kms from macchad, also known for its wonderful carpets. Mouds are carpets of very high quality, we recognize two types: "moud mahi", with hierti motifs with a medallion in the shape of a star in beige color, in shades of light red, light blue, orange and. The "moud garden" only decorated with heraldic motifs without medallion like our model. This beautiful carpet is made of wool lightly mixed with silk, the whole on cotton weft for a density of about 450, 000 knots per m2. The knotting is always tight which allows to obtain resistant carpets, therefore very durable over time. The use of silk enhances the brilliance of velvet. This carpet is in very good condition with only tiny wear and tear. This carpet has been cleaned professionally and environmentally.
