Rare original print by Alfred Manessier (1911-1993), a major figure in French Lyrical Abstraction. Original colour lithograph published on 11 January 1954 for the prestigious avant-garde art magazine XXe Siècle, directed by G. Di San Lazzaro. Very beautiful abstract composition with geometric and organic shapes, in black, pink, and yellow tones. Double sheet on vellum paper, with a small illustration vignette on the reverse. Notable feature: a copy bearing a handwritten dedication from Manessier in pencil: "To Madame F. Albinet, very respectfully, Manessier 11.1.54." A period piece, original and not a modern reproduction, with a beautiful handwritten provenance. Size: 25 × 32.5 cm. Excellent condition, with fresh and vibrant colours.
