Enamelled industrial ceiling suspension light 1910 vintage old factory workshop

Magnificent large industrial pendant light from 1910, in excellent condition. Rare! Body made of brown enamelled sheet metal with a white enamel interior, with no chips or cracks. The top of the pendant is made of cast iron; the middle part has a beautiful rounded and shiny shape, reminiscent of Art Nouveau. Very nice spherical frosted glass globe that screws onto the pendant. Diameter: 48.5 cm, height: 50 cm. Porcelain socket compatible with standard E27/E26 bulbs. The wiring has been completely redone and the pendant is in perfect working order. I provide the repair invoice (due to a short circuit) done in June 2026 by the shop where I purchased the pendant in 2005. A metal chain was added at that time at the top of the ceiling light to hang it from the hook in my living room ceiling. The pendant weighs 7 kg. A magnificent piece of industrial furniture that is both elegant and substantial, timeless, which will add character to your living room or loft due to its beautiful proportions. Pendants from the 1940s-60s are quite common on the market, but those from the early 20th century/1910 are much rarer, especially in this condition.
