Thomas Chippendale Revival desk with a leather top

We are delighted to offer this magnificent partner's desk with twin pedestals in flame mahogany, featuring a Regency brown leather top and an inverted recessed leg. Very aesthetic and well-crafted, it is a copy of an original Thomas Chippendale desk, with original geometric and Egyptian carvings on the upper level of the drawers and the inverted recessed leg allowing for a slight inward seating position. The piece is made of highly ornate flame mahogany panels with decorative scrolls on the side panels. The interior of the pedestals is also detailed with decorative mouldings. The top is made of genuine leather that has been carefully patinated and aged. The condition is good with signs of use and age-related patina, no major defects, and a few small missing pieces of moulding. Dimensions: Height 76.5 cm, Width 137 cm, Depth 77 cm.
