Ceramics G. Metenier

Beautiful glazed stoneware ceramic, from the production of Gilbert Metenier. Typical glazing work from the Ganat workshops. Circa 1920-1930. A very recognisable vase model, all the moulds having been destroyed by G. Metenier around 1940, so no copies can exist. This is a model considered to be of "second category" due to a small firing defect (see last photo), which explains the type of signature. Very good condition.
