Vintage Art Deco turned wooden floor lamp

Splendid vintage floor lamp from the 1930s-40s, made of turned oak *in the style of* Charles Dudouyt, a French designer and decorator of the 20th century. The work of Charles Dudouyt (1885-1946) is highly valued by collectors and enthusiasts of Art Deco furniture. It is not signed. The base is corkscrew-shaped with a floating table decorated with sculpted concentric circles. The foot is also sculpted and wide enough for good stability. The satin varnish finish highlights the beauty of the wood grain. The salmon-coloured fabric lampshade is included (in good condition, with minor light marks). It has a large E27 screw socket (bulb not included). The electrical cable is original and works perfectly; only the switch has been changed. Overall in good condition, with minor marks on the wood (top). Exceptional craftsmanship. Dimensions: Total height with lampshade 170cm. Height of lampshade only 37cm / diameter of lampshade 55cm.
