The carafe from the 1930s is an example of Polish glassmaking in the Art Deco style, made of glass with a delicate pink hue and a subtle amber note. The slender, elongated neck smoothly transitions into a bulbous body, topped with a cork and a base made of nearly black glass with a high gloss. The smooth, semi-transparent surface reflects light, exposing the soft colour palette and craftsmanship. The design revolves around geometric contrasts typical of Art Deco – the domed cork with a sharp tip emphasizes the inspiration of the era. There are no chips, cracks, or signs of repair; the carafe is in very good condition, with only minimal signs of use visible upon close observation. This carafe can be displayed on a sideboard or in a cabinet in the living room – it fits well among Art Deco furniture as well as modernist accents. In an interior arrangement, it pairs well with simple porcelain or cut glass, highlighting its delicate colour. In an eclectic composition, it can be complemented by ceramics in muted tones or dark wood to bring out the contrast and collectible character. The carafe adds a discreet note of historical luxury to the space without excessive decoration.
