Wim Rietveld Panama Wall Lamp Model 4050 for Gispen 1955

Panama wall lamp, model 4050, designed by wim rietveld (son of gerrit rietveld) in 1955 for gispen. For sure one of the best designs he ever did, no doubt an iconic dutch design piece! The lamp is adjusted in every wanted position using the red key/spanner that's on the black metal wall plate, there's 3 hinges to do so. It has grey metal arms (dimensions: 0, 55/0, 45) and the a black aluminum 'panama' shade, the black paint is still original. Unique for this lamp is that it still has its original polyester diffuser, this is almost always missing as it was very vulnerable. The lamp is checked and in good working order. It is in very good original condition. The shade and the diffuser are still perfect, only little traces of use on the metal arms.
