Glazed stoneware vase signed Charles Greber

Glazed stoneware vase signed charles greber (1853-1935). Rare and atypical shape for this décor with art nouveau tones of the early twentieth century.  Charles greber works in beauvais by taking over the family business created by his father which produces the famous sandstones of beauvaisis. he became a recognized ceramist and received numerous awards in artists' salons. The family factory produces objects for decoration, but also architectural elements and tiles to decorate houses, fireplaces, etc. Charles greber was made a knight of the legion of honour in 1926.
