Spherical pendant light in bubbled and opaque blown glass

This elegant vintage pendant lamp combines bubbled blown glass with an inner cylinder of white opaque glass, creating a very graphic play of textures and light. Its aesthetic clearly evokes Space Age inspiration, while maintaining a certain functional sobriety. The whole is completed by a brass socket (E27), a discreet metal tripod and a pretty original ceiling rose in rigid white plastic. A model as decorative as it is effective, typical of the productions of the 70s, when spherical shapes and surface effects dominated domestic lighting creations.
