Ringus lamp, 1950s

Scandinavian 1950s table lamp with brass structure, burgundy lacquered base and perforated metal shade. Table lamp produced by Ringus in the 1950s, a fine example of post-war Scandinavian design, combining functionality with refined detailing. The lamp features a circular burgundy lacquered base and a curved brass stem supporting a conical metal shade. The shade is decorated with a series of perforations along the lower edge, creating a distinctive lighting effect when illuminated. The adjustable joint allows the light to be directed, making it suitable both as a reading lamp and as an ambient lighting piece. Switch integrated on the base. Base stamped Ringus with “ART. 18” marking. Good condition. May show signs of age. Please refer carefully to the photographs. AG175.
