Charming dressing table or toilet table from the Charles X / Empire period in mottled mahogany, resting on an elegant base with curved legs joined by a turned central stretcher. The top opens to reveal an integrated mirror as well as a storage compartment. A drawer at the front completes the ensemble. The simple and refined design, combined with the superb grain of the veneer, perfectly illustrates French bourgeois furniture from the first half of the 19th century. Dimensions: Height: 83 cm. Width: 70 cm. Depth: 49 cm. Materials: Flamed / mottled mahogany. Period: First half of the 19th century, around 1820-1840. Condition: Good overall condition with a beautiful old patina. Some signs of use, scratches, and minor wear consistent with age. The old mirror shows some visible tarnishing, which adds to its authentic charm. A very beautiful decorative and practical piece of furniture, ideal for a bedroom, boudoir, or elegant entrance.
