Display case, made of glass and metal uprights - from the BnF

Rare and exceptional furniture from the Bibliothèque nationale de France (BnF) bearing its BnF inventory barcode and manufacturer's label. Excellent condition. The BnF uses carefully selected suppliers for its custom-made furniture. This beautiful, very bright display case with a silver metallic structure is no exception. It was manufactured by MuseoDirect in Noisy-le-Grand (which still exists), as the label specifies. Resting on 4 slightly rounded legs and fitted with small adjustable black plastic feet, it offers 5 surfaces of thick glass, specifically designed for the exhibition of sensitive works of art such as old books. To access the exhibition area, each side in the width opens with its keys and locks. The interior is spacious and luxurious, just like this piece of furniture. It is rare to find these pieces of furniture surrounded by the prestige of their provenance and the works they have housed.
