Solid Pine Stool with Concave Seat

Scandinavian solid pine stool with concave overhanging seat and four splayed turned legs. Solid pine stool of essential design: a thick, slightly concave seat whose ends project beyond the legs, carried by four splayed turned legs. Reduced to a few elements in solid wood, its construction recalls the Swedish craft tradition reinterpreted by modern design after the Second World War. The pine shows a warm reddish-brown tone and an even patina. Good condition. It may show signs of age and use. Please pay close attention to the photographs. AG240
