Gallia Collection trivia for Christofle – Silver metal

2718 - vintage, in its used branded box, this iconic trifle made with a welded assembly of 8 volutes from the gallia collection for the prestigious christofle house in good condition. Rectangular hallmark "christofle france", square with the letters oc and a rider (so production between 1935 and 1983) in good condition. Dimensions 214 mm X 211. Weight 630 g. Neat and tracked shipment. For information, christofle bought alfénide in 1880 and created this gallia collection bringing together extraordinary artists and designers from the beginning of the twentieth century. It is of high quality and greater hardness because the parts are melted in steel molds and not hammered. Its name refers to the "gaulle", a region of western europe, symbolized by the rooster thus putting french innovation.
