Beautiful old handmade bread board with a beautiful original patina and lots of character! At the time, this was used to transport bread dough to the village oven. This is because people did not have their own ovens. There the bread was baked and taken home. Breads were often made from sourdough because they kept longer. Nowadays, they are used as cheese or charcuterie boards. You can also decorate your charcuterie nicely on pieces of aluminum foil or tree leaves. Dimensions: 29.13 inches or 74 cm high 16.53 inches or 42 cm wide 0.59 inch or 1.5 cm deep super nice breadboard with its age worn, worn look. This is an authentic vintage breadboard with its own patina and imperfections. Cracks, splits and old repairs are therefore normal, this gives additional charm to the board and contributes to its history. The board has been treated preventively against woodworms, so thorough cleaning is recommended. We did not clean them thoroughly as the patina would change, keep that in mind.
