Rare batch of five earthenware plates from the rubelles factory in seine et marne active for only twenty years (1838-1857). They are part of a series of twelve entitled les voyages, with a decoration of caravan and riders on the marli while the center of the plate represents a landscape each time different. They owe their value and originality to the invention of shading enamels developed by adrien du tremblay. These are in very good condition for their age: no crack but some small old chips that have given rise to repairs also old (which show that they have been used). 2 plates have an identical central decoration. Take a good look at the photos.
