Thonet Nesting Tables, 20th Century, Stained Beech

Thonet Frères Nesting Tables No. 10 (See photo in the 1906 Thonet catalog) Made of bent beechwood stained to resemble mahogany Date of creation between 1880 and 1904 One example is in the Musée d'Orsay, from the Georges Candillis collection Good overall condition The tables have been restored with a wax finish, preserving the original color (base) and character. Slightly glossy finish. Some traces of old treated and filled wood mites, as well as signs of wear and scratches, particularly on the tabletop, are present.
