Soup bowls and cups in Puisaye stoneware by Jean-Pierre Prud'homme

Here is a beautiful set of charming soup bowls, which could also be used to serve a fruit salad, ice cream scoops ... they are made of Puisaye stoneware with a very pretty enamel mixing soft and comforting tones: beige, caramel and chocolate, material and colors typical of the 70s. A beautiful craftsmanship of the potter Jean-Pierre Prud'Homme. They are part of a large utility service that I offer here in several lots. These bowls are not signed, just marked with a number 2, because Jean-Pierre Prud'Homme did not sign all his pieces when they were part of a larger service. For the service that I offer in different lots, only the large pieces are signed: dish, tray, etc. Jean-Pierre Prud'Homme founded with his wife a craft pottery workshop in 1971 in Monnaie, working with clay from the Nièvre (Puisaye stoneware). This workshop still exists today (atelier au grès du vent), it is run by his son Benoit Prud'Homme who took over in the 1990s-2000s and also creates very beautiful ceramics. These bowls date from the 70s and are in perfect condition, no defects to report, not even a chip! They must not have been used often. These bowls measure 16 cm wide including handles, 12 cm in diameter at the opening, 13.5 cm in diameter at the belly and 8.5 cm in height.
