4 antique plates in hand-painted faience

Four antique plates in glazed earthenware with hand-painted floral decoration on a warm yellow background. The slightly scalloped edges are highlighted with a green or black line, and the four different designs give them an artisanal character and a beautiful decorative presence. Without a stamp, this set evokes Italian artisanal productions of the Deruta type, although no attribution can be confirmed. Each plate is adorned with a different floral bouquet, painted freehand, making each piece unique. Diameter: 2 plates of 22 cm, 2 plates of 24 cm. In excellent vintage condition, with well-preserved glazes and bright decorations, some small chips on the reverse, traces of use, and crazing (see photos). The return of colourful earthenware marks the most beautiful characterful tables.
