Large multilayered pendant light by Design Light A/S. Denmark 1970s

A large and heavy multilayered pendant light in classic danish style with matte white powder coating. It consists of seven thick metal discs of various sizes. This is not a thin aluminum type construction but a solid and sturdy shade. The lamp spreads a soft white shine downwards over a table without any glare sideways. Each layer shining down on the next gives a soft and stylish effect to the centre of a room. The light was constructed by the danish light manufacturer design- light a/s. Good condition but with slight loss of paint along the edges of the discs as seen in the close up image. But all discs are straight and sturdy. Standard e27 light bulb socket.
