Old Waller Sloe Bodkin Plate German Saar Basin

A beautiful decorative wall plate dating from 1920 in german white ironstone porcelain from the “saar basin” under the old waller (old mulberry) sloe bodkin (sloe) model, is stamped. * it presents a multiple decoration of green flowers, accompanied by a few birds. The outline of the plate is scalloped. The landscape depicts a castle perched on cliffs, surrounded by dense vegetation, with a view of the horizon and the sky. A waterfall is visible just below the castle. The plate is mounted on a wall bracket. * a rather original and rare piece whose presence is diminishing. It is in perfect antique condition with very beautiful authenticity. Some areas of the paint around the plate are a little chipped, but that doesn't diminish its charm.
