Description
Set of 8 historical napoleon bonaparte plates from the luneville earthenware factory to commemorate the bicentenary of the napoleonic epic. The plates are new, they have never been served. Each of the plates represents a different historical scene of napoleon. On the contour of the plate, napoleon's n is placed at the top center and it is surrounded by laurel garland. On the underside of each plate, there is a summary of the event. Each plate was limited to 5000 copies. 1. Entry of the emperor in berlin in 1806. 2. Promulgation of the civil code 1804. 3. Last square of the waterloo guard 1815. 4. The emperor at wagram 1809. 5. Bonaparte at the adjoining bridge 1796. 6. Passage of the great saint bernard 1800. 7. Battle of the pyramids 1798. 8. Creation of the legion of honor 1804. These plates take up the concept of the old talking plates of the 19th century taking up historical facts. You can quite dine on these plates or they can be used as decoration too. Dimension: 25.5cm (9.84'') The plates are in very good condition, they are new.
