Set of 7 vintage Tam Tam stools in white and orange designed by Henry Massonnet in 1968. This stool was manufactured by Stamp and has become a symbol of affordable pop art design. Originally designed as a practical and portable stool for fishermen, it offered storage space under the seat, while its conical shape ensured stability while fishing. Made from polypropylene, it is lightweight and therefore easy to transport. Its immense success came in 1969 when a photo appeared in the magazine Ici Paris showing Brigitte Bardot with several Tam Tams in her living room. The stool became a cult object and, barely a year later, was added to the collection of the Museum of Modern Art. Undoubtedly, a fun and practical design icon! Overall good condition. The 3 light orange stools are newer and therefore in better condition. The white and dark orange ones show scratches and some stains.
