Set of 2 coffee tables by Jean-Claude Goualch

2 coffee tables in ceramic and wrought iron. The artist who created the ceramics is Jean-Claude Goualch, a graduate of the Beaux-Arts in Nantes in 1958. He opened a workshop, the Kerbigot pottery, in the 1960s in Guidel (Morbihan). The 2 tables are themed around the sea, featuring original representations of crustaceans, seahorses, and seaweed. The 2 tables are matching but not identical. The black earthenware is iridescent and has very pretty pearlescent green reflections. The tables are in very good condition, but the joints may need to be redone. These tables would give a unique style to your interior!
