Chandelier

French Louis XV style brass glass and 8 arm 12 crystal chandelier dating from the late 19th century which was converted to electric at some point in its long life. The chandelier comes in the form of a 4 sided cage formation in a curved style with the 4 arms forming part of the cage and the other 4 arms sitting between the cage. The arms lead to leaf shaped candle drip holders and the candle drips are white glass. In the center of the cage are 4 more bulb holders which illuminate the center of the chandelier also in the center of the cage is a cut glass prism and hanging ball. Above the cage are 2 sets of glass columns with cascades of small arms separating them and on each arm hangs a crystal pendant. At the top of the chandelier is a hanging loop from which to hang a chain. This chandelier features crystals of different shapes and sizes and a large honeycomb glass ball with star detailing at the bottom. The light has double core French braided wiring and takes 8 small screw in bulbs in the arms and 4 large b22 bayonet bulbs in the center. The brass has a deep aged patina reminiscent of its long lifespan. All glass pieces and crystals are shiny and complete, with no visible cracks. The crystals can have small nibbles nothing that detracts from their beauty. The candle is leaking and the glass pieces are in good condition with no chips or cracks. Due to the size of the chandelier, it will be partially disassembled for shipping. Full details including photographs for reassembly will be provided. All crystals will be left hanging, but on some occasions the crystals may come loose and it is up to you to re-hang them, which is a simple process.
