Murano ashtray Sommerso faceted glass red yellow vintage 60s-70s

Superb vintage ashtray or pocket tray made of Murano glass, created using the Sommerso technique. Very beautiful multilayer glass work combining an intense red with yellow and transparent hues. The exterior is entirely hand-cut and polished into large geometric facets, giving the piece a remarkable diamond effect. The layering of colours and the thickness of the glass create very beautiful light effects depending on the angle of view. Italian work from Murano, probably from the 1960s-1970s, in the style of productions by Mandruzzato, Seguso, and other major Murano glassworks. Width: 12 cm. Height: 6 cm. Weight: approximately 640 g.
