Antique solid brass lamp base - 44 cm - neoclassical style

Splendid antique lamp base in solid gilded brass, inspired by the neoclassical style. Its slender silhouette takes up the codes of ancient architecture with a fluted column topped by a Corinthian capital and resting on a stepped molded base. The discreet patina of the brass and the finely executed details make it a decorative piece of character, both sober and majestic. Very good condition with traces of time consistent with the age of the object, without structural defects. The original electrical system has been deliberately preserved although sectioned, in order to leave to the buyer the care of a suitable rewiring.
