"Coconut" chair by George Nelson for Herman Miller

George Nelson, one of the most prominent designers of the 20th century, was born in Sessel in 1958. This extravagant shape was created from a Coconut chair made of fibreglass, covered in genuine blue leather. At the time, the model was only labelled with a sticker. Unfortunately, this is no longer available. The old Coconut chairs only had a sticker. Unfortunately, this is no longer available, so there is no proof of manufacture. However, there are no fibreglass replicas. Yet, this chair is made of fibreglass.
