Superb pair of Napoleon III armchairs, in the style of Madeleine Castaing, in green velvet, Maison Etro fabric, and trimmings. France, second half of the 19th century. A highly elegant classic style, highlighted by a combination of colors, textures, and patterns with undeniable charm. An exquisite pair perfect for distinguished interiors. Comfortable and in excellent condition, except for some partial discoloration of the fabric on the backs of the armchairs. The armchairs were reupholstered in the 1980s. L84, D90, H85cm, seat 40cm.
