Grand sofa throw Kelim with geometric pattern, 1970s

A very large woven cotton textile that could be used as a rug or as a throw for a sofa. We do not know which country it comes from, but we think it is Moroccan or Indian. The pattern is partly woven and partly painted on the textile. It has some white marks on the surface at one end.
