Seven vintage plates in fine earthenware from Gien service Gentilly

The plates are in very good condition, no cracks or gaps. Note a tiny jump of enamel on one of them, at the edge at the back, of 5 mm by 3 mm, but that is not visible on the front of the plate when used. They come from the earthenware factories of gien, in the town of the same name, in the loiret in france. Among the earthenwares born in the 19th century, the gien earthenware factory is one of the most famous, and the most important in europe. These are flat plates of the "gentilly" service, with the motif at the bottom of the plate of graceful soft branches with tricolor leaves, painted by hand, on a white background, all delicate. The plates are marked on the reverse of the brand of the earthenware in black ink. They date back to the early 1960s.
