Set of 3 old botanical engravings – after Redouté – Roses, reissue

Charming set of three old botanical engravings representing varieties of roses, after the work of Pierre-Joseph Redouté (1759–1840). These plates are authentic 19th-century reissues (circa 1860–1890), printed in chromolithography on thick laid paper with lovely natural foxing, evidence of their age. The original inscriptions (PJ Redouté pinx., Imprimerie de Rémond, Bessin sculp.) confirm their fidelity to the famous Roses plates. Presented in their gilt frames under glass (H. 42.5 cm X W. 32 cm), they combine decorative charm and historical authenticity. Ideal for a romantic decoration, a refined interior or a collection of old prints.
