What is kubu rattan; Kubu rattan is a type of rattan that grows abundantly and wildly in the lush indonesian forests of borneo (kalimantan), sumatra island and many other regions. When allowed to dry, it takes on a color ranging from white to beige. It can be naturally dyed using mud to achieve a lovely soft gray color known as kubu gray. It is preferred because it is a strong, durable natural material. Our rattan and bamboo products are collected in their natural environment, naturally, and are produced by hand without any processing for the sake of perfect appearance or without using any molds in order to obtain a fixed size. Due to the natural state of the plants, color differences at some points, color transitions, spots and various differences in the body of the plant are reflected on the product as well.
