Beni ourain runner's 81x307cm

The large carpet with an archaic white floor known as Beni Ourain was created by Moroccan mountain nomads. The thick, but loosely structured carpets were not used as floor coverings, but rather as beds and bedding. Effective protection against the winter cold in snow-covered mountainous regions, the classic Beni Ourain has a network of black lines on creamy ground. The oldest carpets of the Beni Ourain have extremely rich patterns.
