Wicker rattan umbrella holder

Charming dark braided wicker umbrella holder. It still has two labels, one below indicating that it was made of france, the other on the high edge indicating "basketry art, all handmade". It has a compressed wooden base with three small rubber pads that allow it to be well stable, it is equipped with a plastic saucer inside to receive water from umbrellas, without moistening the structure. It is quite large and will be able to accommodate several umbrellas or canes. It probably dates from the 80s. It is in good general condition, well solid, the strands are intact, just a few small marks of use and the varnish is a little faded. The high rim is a bit disjointed, but it's original. I left it as it is, just well cleaned, but I can, if you wish, pass it a little dark oak varnish to restore its shine and protect it for many years. It is 48 cm high, 27 cm in diameter and weighs just over 1.7 kg.
