Cylinder Desk in Mahogany, Directoire Period

Cylinder desk in mahogany from the late 18th century. It rests on four turned legs ending in brass sabot feet and opens at the front with two glazed doors at the top and two drawers. The top is covered in black leather. Brass beading decoration on three sides. Grey marble top surrounded by a brass gallery. A functional key for the doors and drawers. The theatre reveals three drawers and a shelf. Finished with shellac. Height under the drawers 55cm. Height of the top 71cm.
