Richard Mandin (1909-2002) Original work 1967. The painting is sold as is with its detached backing, the marie-louise slightly stained but the work itself is in good condition. The whole needs to be reframed. Dimensions with marie-louise: 25.7/18.5 cms. French painter and also a composer known for his abstract works. He was called the Monticelli of the 20th century. A student at the École des Beaux-Arts in Marseille and at the École du Louvre. From 1948 to 1950 he participated in exhibitions in New York and then from 1954 in Marseille, Deauville, Paris, Cassis, Aix-en-Provence.
