Decor called "turkish" printed in blue monochrome, appearing on the basin and the lid of groups of characters and horses in architectural landscapes, the border presenting reserves decorated with birds alternated with clusters of vine branches. Debossed mark david johnston (period 1837-1840) and stencil mark david johnston et cie - sce 2 on the reverse. Dimensions: 29 X 23.5 X 15 (height) cm. Weight: 1192g. This superb piece is in very good condition. No accidents to report. Presence of small traces of wear from use of the cover.
