Table lamp model BN25 by Hans-Agne Jakobsson for AB Markaryd

Highly sought-after table lamp from the Swedish company AB Markaryd, in a famous design by company owner Hans-Agne Jakobsson. It was first introduced in the 1960s. This is the BN 25 model, also called Lamingo. Lamingo comes from the Swedish word "Lamelae", which refers to the three scales of the lamp. Especially with the orange inside, it's fascinating to see how the three layers dimm and scatter light beautifully. The BN 25 lamp comes in different sizes and colors. This particular lamp is the largest table version, at 45 centimeters high. It has a brown anodized aluminum base, with bare aluminum scales with, as indicated, an orange interior. It is in excellent condition. No damage to the visible surfaces of the lamp, only the bottom shows some traces of its age. The lamp is suitable for a standard E27 bulb 60W max or LED. The cabling is perfectly suited to the 110V and 220V network.
