Chairs André Sornay

Two solid beech chairs, attributed to the Lyonnais designer André Sornay, a figure of French modernist furniture from the 1950s. They have been carefully restored: sanding, walnut husk staining, and a very light satin varnish to protect the chair. Their clean design, with bold and balanced lines, perfectly reflects the spirit of Sornay's furniture. The chairs are in very good overall condition. Height 79cm. Seat 45cm. Width 43cm.
