Advertising boards - labels claims 1915 - animal proverb

This table shows three old advertising labels. These advertisements for a grocery store date back to the 1920s and illustrate proverbs with humor. These labels were collected. They illustrate the following proverbs: "detalant like a hare", "slow like a turtle" and "ugly like a monkey". In the image "slow as a turtle", soldiers in red and blue uniforms make it possible to date these labels from the first war. These engravings are decorated with a polychrome illustration on one side and advertising on the other. This is not a recent print run but old labels. The frame measures 25.5 X 14.5 m. I report scratches and traces of use, the paper is yellowed.
