Elegant 1960s rattan room divider / screen. Beautifully made by Dlg de Bonacina (Italy). In very good original condition. Composed of 3 articulated panels decorated with curved rattan elements, connected by thick leather straps, original to the piece. H 170cm. W 170cm when unfolded, W 150cm in place. D 8cm when folded. Width of one panel 57cm. Weight 7kg. Very nice original patina. All bindings are intact, the leather of the fastenings is functional, and no rattan elements are broken. The 3 panels fold down to form just one. Note some superficial cracks on the leather, which do not affect the strength (normal wear due to age) of the fastenings. See photos. A beautiful piece for collectors, in the spirit of the French Riviera 60s. As pleasant to look at as it is to use for defining a space. The eye is drawn to the lovely work of the rattan arabesques while still allowing a view through. Practical and lightweight. Ideal for small spaces.
