Volumetric measure in pewter with lid measuring half a deciliter made by the master potter georges gras, from a long line of angevin potters dating back to antoine alègre in 1710, the gras factory is the only heir to the numerous angevin estaigniers, it knows a great boom in the first half of the 20th century. In 1897, georges gras headed the gras company. In 1925, he joined forces with his son-in-law georges étienne to form the gras & etienne factory, located at 71 rue saint-léonard, in angers. This old pewter measure is in perfect condition, the hallmark is clearly identifiable. Hallmark of georges gras: crowned key / gg official hallmark after 1873 hallmarks visible at the top of the pitcher: n – a and bonne foi hallmark hallmarks visible on the part articulating the lid of the pitcher: k – l and probably m hallmark on the handle dimensions: height: 8 centimeters width: 7 centimeters diameter of the base: 4.2 centimeters weight: 145 grams normal visible wear mark, slight or even imperceptible nicks and dents the photos are an integral part of the description of the object and allow you to see its condition, and thus observe maximum details; which will hopefully help you to be fully satisfied with your purchase.
